Job Advert Summary

Hello Paisa is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to oversee the sales operations across Gauteng. The role is crucial in managing information stores spread across the region, where customer service representatives work. As the go-between for the main office and field employees, you’ll lead Area Sales Managers and drive business growth by ensuring high performance, customer service, and compliance across your team.

This role involves extensive travel within the GP region to monitor sales performance, implement strategic initiatives, and strengthen Hello Paisa’s market presence. The ideal candidate should have exceptional leadership,





sales acumen, and a proven track record in telecommunications or financial services.

Minimum Requirements

Educational Requirements:

- Matric

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the telecommunications or financial services industry.
- Proven success in managing teams, driving sales, and achieving financial targets in a regionally dispersed team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performance Management & Team Leadership:

- Lead and manage all subordinates in your region, including Area Sales Managers and customer service representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify training gaps and ensure that all agents and supervisors attend product training to stay current on Hello Paisa's offerings, compliance, and systems.
- Provide weekly reporting on your team’s activities, performance, and any challenges encountered, while proactively addressing underperformance with action plans.

Sales Growth & Net Base Movement:







- Drive sales of new products (such as Value-Added Services like Cashback) across various markets, including Supermarkets and Economic Groups.
- Ensure consistent growth in the customer base and monitor net base movement to achieve revenue growth targets for your region.
- Manage customer retention, particularly for high-value customers, and reactivate customers who have gone inactive.

Business Development & Corridor Growth:

- Identify new corridor growth opportunities and potential business types to expand Hello Paisa’s presence within your region.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay informed on market conditions and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.






- Engage in proactive marketing by identifying digital and physical marketing opportunities and executing regional promotions.

Customer Service Excellence:

- Ensure that customer service teams educate customers about Hello Paisa’s products and services.
- Oversee the quality of service provided by your teams, manage customer relationships, and address any queries or issues.
- Work to retain high-value customers and maintain strong relationships to drive long-term loyalty.

Fleet Management & Logistics:

- Collaborate with the fleet team to ensure company vehicles are maintained and efficiently allocated to agents and staff.
- Manage travel expenses and fuel usage for agents with vehicles, ensuring adherence to the company’s budgetary guidelines.

Stock & Warehouse Coordination:







- Ensure that stock discrepancies are accurately recorded and maintained.
- Liaise with the warehouse team bi-weekly to monitor stock levels and resolve any supply chain or logistical issues, ensuring that stock is aligned with regional sales demands.

Financial Management:

- Manage the regional recruitment and operational budgets, ensuring that all expenditures are kept within allocated limits.
- Oversee monthly expense claims, keeping travel, recruitment, and operational costs in line with the company’s budget.

Collections & Compliance:

- Ensure that collections in your region are up-to-date and manage relationships with customers who have outstanding payments.






- Stay knowledgeable on HelloPay products and ensure all compliance requirements are met, while providing feedback on product usage and customer satisfaction.
