Job Description:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in armored vehicles, you will be responsible for the design and development of vehicle systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and components for armored vehicles.
- Develop and maintain 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct simulations and tests to validate design performance and durability.
- Collaborate with electrical, structural, and systems engineers to integrate vehicle subsystems.
- Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of designs in the field.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and military specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the defense or automotive industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
