Position Title: Accountant
Location: Centurion

Reporting To: Finance Manager

Main Purpose
Manage and report on financial activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company goals, playing a vital role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Statements Preparation:
- Prepare financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
- Gather and input data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and rectifying discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and timely.
- Review invoices and manage payment schedules.
- Ledger Maintenance:
- Update ledgers regularly and conduct monthly reconciliations.
- Budget Preparation:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with department heads.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated with financial regulations and assist in audits.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Work with various departments to gather financial information and provide insights.
Key Work Relationships
- Internal: Finance Department, Operations, Sales, HR, and other stakeholders.
- External: Contractors and service providers.
Role-Specific Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are advantageous.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software (Sage 200 Evolution) and Microsoft Office Suite.
