PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Are you a skilled Telecoms Team Leader looking to take your career to the next level. A proven track record of driving sales performance and the ability to coach and develop your team is essential for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead & Drive Performance: Propel your team to achieve monthly KPIs and targets.
•Track & Communicate Results: Keep everyone informed of sales goals and achievements.
•Develop & Train: Identify areas for improvement and deliver effective training and coaching.
•Manage Attendance & Engagement: Improve team commitment and performance.
•Retain Top Talent: Implement wellness and engagement initiatives to minimize attrition.
•Motivate & Inspire: Keep your team energized and striving for success.
•Support Disciplinary Actions: Handle misconduct matters, issue corrective documents, and chair hearings.
•Foster Open Communication: Maintain constant interaction with your team members.
•Assess & Implement Interventions: Observe and measure performance, then act accordingly.
•Support Sales Stages: Guide your team through sales processes and assist with client escalations.
•Report: Provide detailed weekly/daily reports to key stakeholders
•Develop Your Team: Use motivation, counselling, and education to build product knowledge.
•Forecast Sales: Provide accurate sales predictions.
•Resolve Complaints: Handle and resolve customer issues efficiently.
•Devise Strategies: Create sales techniques that boost performance.
•Collaborate: Work with other departments to ensure sales team success
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Matric essential
•Must have at least 18 months experience as a Telesales team leader within a telecommunications call centre environment.
•Proven track record of leading successful teams
•Sound understanding of B2B sales within the telecommunications sector is preferred.
