The Role overview:
As a Finance Systems Analyst / Product Owner (ERP), you will act as the bridge between the finance department and ERP systems, ensuring that technology aligns with and supports the financial objectives of the business. Youll drive continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and ensure that finance processes are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
- Create detailed specifications and work with technical teams to design and configure ERP systems
- Ensure alignment with financial objectives, industry standards, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and execute implementation plans for ERP features and enhancements
- Lead system testing, quality assurance, and routine maintenance
- Provide ongoing system support, training, and develop user guides
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in ERP systems, including integration, maintenance, and reporting
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- SAP ERP finance experience or other relevant ERP finance experience
- Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification is a plus
- 2-3 years of experience in Finance Information Systems
