Warranty Adjudicator and Liaison (Automotive Industry)

Location: Rosslyn, Gauteng
Position Overview:
A leading global commercial vehicle manufacturing concern has a new opportunity available for a Warranty Adjudicator and Liaison.
One will be tasked with manage all warranty claims in the warranty systems. The Quality and Warranty Controller will adjudicate all warranty claims from the dealer network based on the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions.
The selected candidate will also carry our regular audits annually at the dealers to ensure claim quality, identify training needs and address high claim rejections/corrections,
reject claims that are in contradiction, alert the Line Manager regarding high-cost claim pending rejection, and carry out any training new and existing dealers on the systems and claim submissions.
One will report into the Quality and Warranty Manger.
Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of the workshop environment.
- Knowledge of the commercial vehicles industry.
- Knowledge of warranty systems and processes.
- Basic technical knowledge.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A completed Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
- Administration Certificate or similar.
- Automotive qualification (Diesel or Petrol) will be preferred.
- At least 5 years' experience in a Claims Department in the Motor Industry preferably in the Commercial Vehicle Sector.
- Technical experience.
- Strong administration and reporting skills.
