Are you an experienced Accountant with UK accounting expertise, looking to expand your international experience? AUXO Group, a global leader in specialist recruitment services, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic team and manage the financial operations for our international entities.
What you'll be doing:
As part of our finance team, you will ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes across various entities, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and strong financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- General Ledger Management:
Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Intercompany Accounts: Reconcile intercompany transactions and ensure smooth financial integration across the group.
- Journals: Post and review journals including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments to ensure financial accuracy.
- Month-End Close: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion of all reconciliations and journal entries.
- VAT and Compliance: Prepare VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring accurate and complete financial documentation.
What we're looking for:
- UK Experience: Proven experience working with UK-based companies and understanding UK accounting standards.
- Multi-Entity Experience: Experience in managing the finances of multiple entities or subsidiaries is essential.
- Technical Accounting Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles,
with proficiency in preparing financial reports and managing ledgers.
- Qualifications: Relevant accounting qualification
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and focus on financial integrity.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a finance team.
