The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with customers to build new Cyber Security business for the Company. This candidate must have a software security backround and understand the IT security environment in South Africa. This position is office based but will include a lot of customer visits for face-to-face interactions, presentations and information gathering. Candidates need to be focused and have strong communication skills. He/she should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy effectively and successfully. Position will be assessed & measured on the achievement of various pre-determined financial targets and other objectives (KPI's)
• Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
• Develop and maintain strong, loyal relationships with customers and the respective vendor personnel
• Liaising with customers to develop product sales plans and marketing strategies as well as execution, implementation & tracking of same
• Communicate product information to customers in a clear and professional manner. This will include, but not be limited to product and any other related issues to the customer to be able to effectively sell the product
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients
• Preparing sales presentations and assist with product demos
• Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences relating to Cyber Security
• Resolve any customer queries / problems
• Undergo all needed training (both sales and technical) that may be required by the vendor
• Deliver a weekly, monthly & quarterly revenue forecast and participating in sales meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Divisional Manager;
• Employee may from time to time be required to perform duties outside the ambit of the position.
• Matric
• 3 - 4 years' prior software security industry related experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies (Preferably in the software field), • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
