Market expertise includes understanding the reasons customers purchase products. This includes a deep understanding of the competition, and how customers think of and buy your product. Product Managers need market research and competitive analysis skills to complete these tasksDefines what to solve in the market needs document,
where you articulate the valuable market problem you're solving along with priorities and justification for each part of the solutionRuns beta and pilot programs as well as regular reviews and checks with customers to ensure that the product meets the customer expectationsAct as the product's leader within the companyDevelops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business venturesPlan and supervise new product implementations/rolloutsDefine and prioritize customer segments/markets for the productUltimate responsibility for product pricing and pricing policiesDefine marketing strategy and plan for the productProvide and continuously update product sales forecastsUltimate responsibility for Supplier relationshipOversee supplier contract and/or target negotiationsOversee that supplier required reports and/or requests and questions are attended to professionally and timeouslyPresent quarterly business reviews (QBR) to management and/or suppliersSupervise, review, and approve purchase orders (POs)Supervise and provide relevant internal trainingSupervise and/or provide customer trainingDesired Experience & QualificationRequirements:Must be proficient with English and Afrikaans Completed MatricCompleted course in Project Management - highly beneficialOwn reliable transport with a valid drivers licenseSouth African with a valid South African ID4+ years Technical experience along with experience in Customer Service / CareMust be able to manage time, projects and informationStrong communication required (verbal and written)Natural problem solving abilitiesMust be able to sustain pressure and be self-motivatedWilling to work overtime as neededTravel may be required for this positionPackage & RemunerationThe Position: We're looking for a Product Manager to be based permanently in Centurion. The pay range on offer is R45 000.00 to R50 000.00 Package Per Month.
