My client is seeking an experienced professional for their Credit Risk & Capital Management team. In this managerial role, you will lead the auditing and development of complex credit risk models (IFRS9 and scorecards) while overseeing project planning and quality control. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of experts and engage with various financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review credit risk models.
- Manage projects from planning to execution.
- Code and automate financial risk management models.
- Foster a coaching culture within the team.
Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in a quantitative credit risk role.
- Proficiency in statistical techniques and credit risk modelling.
- Familiarity with coding (SAS, Python, R).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage teams and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Honours or Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.); FRM certification is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in credit risk.
