Purpose of Position:

1. Investigate and resolve accounts rejections based on medical schemes clinical protocols in conjunction with various laboratory departments to achieve departmental goals.
2.





Compile weekly and monthly reports / stats on abnormal rejections and clinical disputes.
3. Investigate and handle matters relating to POPIA complaints to be compliant with POPIA legislation.
4. Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath.
5. Output performance to be in line with the performance contract.

To investigate and resolve accounts rejections based on medical schemes clinical protocols in conjunction with various laboratory departments in order to achieve departmental goals.

Verify ICD Rejected accounts and amend where necessary.

Assist with intermediate excel reports, power queries and processes to ensure efficiency within the department.

Handle HPCSA complaints and compile feedback reports to the CEO.

Requirements:

Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting: Data Processing (Required), National Diploma: Biomedical Technology

Required Experience:

Experience in a medical environment, Knowledge: Code of conduct of the National Pathology Group (NPG), Knowledge: Meditech system including LIS, B/AR,





MM, GL, AP, Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge of the SAMA Billing Guide
