The Systems Engineer (Level 2) is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the group’s datacenter systems, SAP systems (to OS level), the branch line-of-business systems. The successful incumbent should have a firm grasp of both site and datacentre systems with the view to ensure stabilisation in this area. They will work as part of a Technical and Engineering competency acting as an escalation point for problems that cannot be resolved by the first-line support team. The ideal candidate leads by example and takes initiative in areas of operational support as well as ongoing projects. They place as much focus and attention on developing technical expertise as they do on excellent communication with end-users and their fellow IT colleagues.Line Manager: ITSS Systems Engineering Team LeadJob SpecificationKey Performance Areas:Installing, configuring, maintaining,
