Position: Administration Manager
Location: Bellville
Salary: Market Related and Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

My client is looking to recruit for an Administration Manager within a Private Hospital, to manage all Administration staff, including Admissions, Pre-admissions, Billings, Auditing, Case Management, Archiving, Debtors and Concierge in accordance with the requirements set out by my client.

The incumbent will also be responsible for the financial risk management of the hospital, by ensuring accurate and timeous billing of all patient accounts and ensuring the effective patient liaison and dispute resolution.

- Ensure staff admit patients in a professional,





orderly manner and appropriate information is recorded
- Ensure staff collect deposits and surcharges where applicable
- Compliance with Group Policy and Procedures
- To ensure a smooth flow in administration department at all times
- To ensure that all timelines are consistently met
- Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
- Month-end closing of the billing group information
- Ensure adequate turn-around times are maintained
- Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Billing planning and implementation
- Oversee the case management function
- Ensure cases are updated appropriately and per agreements with medical aid

- Capacity to plan, organize and control own work environment by setting appropriate priorities and achieving set objectives within a given time frame.
- Ensure processes are in line with the working procedures and policies
- Maintain set targets
- Ensure accuracy of ICD 10 AND CPT 4 coding






- Analysis of billing errors with appropriate action plans
- Ensuring SOPs are up to date
- Effective management of cancelled cases
- Ensure effective communication and follow through with medical aids
- Manage associated administrative tasks
- Assist with any other duties assigned by the Hospital Manager from time to time

EDUCATION

- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Administration or Office Management or related.

WORK EXPERIENCE

- Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in a Managerial position
- Private Hospital experience
- Computer Literacy essential
- Sound financial knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data
- Experience in clinical leadership

SKILLS:

- Excellent interpersonal skills






- Excellent organizational skills
- Report writing skills
- Analytical thinking
- Sound knowledge of the Billings and Tariff guidelines
- Must be able to function effectively independently
