Durban Central. Opportunity exists for Finance Admin Clerk with at least 5 years finance experience and Diploma / Degree in Finance or Accounting to join company within the Shipping industry. Ideal candidate will be meticulous with good interpersonal skills and have impeccable English language skills - both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate administrative applications
- Allocation, monitoring, and supervision of the administrative section
- Invoicing of administrative applications for surveys
- Updating the fee book
- FEC applications for invoices
- Funding coordination with the bank for funds received
- Checking supplier invoices to quotes and coordinating invoices for authorization






- Follow up on queries from creditors
- Prepare and load EFT supplier payments
- Maintaining and updating beneficiary information
- Forward remittances to clients to indicate payments made
- Preparing credit notes as required
- Handling enquiries / queries on customer invoices and supplier invoices
- Compiles repatriations for remittance

Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Commerce / Accounts Diploma / qualification essential
- Minimum 5 years practical finance / admin experience
- Excellent English - written and verbal
- Computer literate - Excel and Word
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines
