Our salon is designed to be a "place of rest," offering premium nail care and beauty services. Role Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nail Technician / Receptionist.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nail services on days where we need backup while mostly handling front-of-house duties, ensuring smooth salon operations and a welcoming environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with client consultations to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon
- Welcome clients, answer phone calls, and manage appointment bookings
- Managing Whatsapp enquiries and bookings
- Provide general administrative support, including stock management and handling payments
- Assistance with planning a roster / working schedule for all women working in salon
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and serene atmosphere in the salon
- Perform manicures, pedicures, and gel polish applications on days where a backup is required or when we are in busy season
- Nail art is a bonus
Requirements:
- Nail technician qualification or relevant experience
- Salon experience - 3 years
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in gel polish application and knowledge of current nail trends
- Ability to multitask
- Professional, well-groomed appearance
- Attention to detail and a passion for the beauty industry
