- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to support decisionmaking, ensuring that complex financial concepts are translated into clear, actionable insights for non-financial team members.
- Reporting & Analysis: Oversee financial reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors, providing clear analysis of key metrics, trends, and variances. Present complex financial information in a simplified manner for broader understanding.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry-specific legal requirements.
Develop legal strategies to optimize the financial performance of the company.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks related to the company's operations. Implement processes and controls to safeguard company assets.
- Operational Efficiency: Work closely with department heads to understand operational needs and create financially viable solutions. Help drive profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving operational efficiency.

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably within the agriculture or related industry.
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to create clear, actionable models that can be understood by non-financial team members.
- Proven ability to navigate complex legal and financial regulations, with a talent for finding compliant solutions to business challenges.
- Experience with financial software and systems, including ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
