Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the companys tax operations, including the preparation and filing of corporate income tax, VAT / GST, and other indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls related to tax reporting and compliance.
- Ensure that the company adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in all tax and financial reporting matters.
- Manage and lead tax audits and ensure timely responses to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Review and update tax policies and procedures, staying abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and external consultants, to ensure compliance with VAT, tax provisions, and tax optimization strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulators.
- Prepare and review tax reconciliations and deferred tax provisions as part of the financial close process.
- Provide guidance on global tax compliance strategies and initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Support the finance team with technical tax accounting issues and play an active role in complex tax planning projects.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax accounting, with significant exposure to VAT / GST, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
- Strong understanding of tax compliance, reporting, and accounting standards.
- Proven ability to manage tax audits and navigate complex tax regulations at local and international levels.
