Description
The role is responsible for supporting internal audit teams in terms of data capturing and operational support evolving into data analytics and dashboard reporting.
This role is a fixed term contract role for 6 months and is based in Pinelands.
Key Outputs : Operations :
Operations :
- Manages the Internal Audit service mailbox and assigns logged requests to appropriate resources for resolution
- Formatting documents to provide a professional finish.
- Grant, review and remove user access to the Audit Management System (i.e. Teammate) as well as add users to Teammate audit files.
Data Analyst
- Assists the GIA Operations team with data capturing and validation.
- Ability to work with data,
analyse data and display data / information in creative and meaningful ways.
- Use of new technologies / applications to produce reports.
- Proactively improve analytic approaches, methodologies, data and reporting capabilities.
- Assists the GIA Operations team with adhoc data analysis and presenting the results through enhanced story telling.
- Develops and continuously updates standard operating procedures.
- Delivery of impactful and visual data reports.
Requirements :
- Relevant 3-year degree (Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Economics, Internal Auditing)
- Either have or working towards : Honours Degree in IT (would be a distinct advantage)
- Exposure to advanced programming would be advantageous.
- Ability to handle a constantly changing environment.
- Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal and team results.
The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question
