POSITION : Telesales Team Leader
REPORTS TO : Sales Manger
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Are you a skilled Telecoms Team Leader looking to take your career to the
next level. We have an amazing opportunity for you to work at the Head Office of a leading
telecommunications company based in Roodepoort. A proven track record of driving sales
performance and the ability to coach and develop your team is essential for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead & Drive Performance: Propel your team to achieve monthly KPIs and targets.
• Track & Communicate Results: Keep everyone informed of sales goals and achievements.
• Develop & Train:
Identify areas for improvement and deliver effective training and coaching.
• Manage Attendance & Engagement: Improve team commitment and performance.
• Retain Top Talent: Implement wellness and engagement initiatives to minimize attrition.
• Motivate & Inspire: Keep your team energized and striving for success.
• Support Disciplinary Actions: Handle misconduct matters, issue corrective documents, and
chair hearings.
• Foster Open Communication: Maintain constant interaction with your team members.
• Assess & Implement Interventions: Observe and measure performance, then act
accordingly.
• Support Sales Stages: Guide your team through sales processes and assist with client
escalations.
• Report: Provide detailed weekly/daily reports to key stakeholders
• Develop Your Team: Use motivation, counselling, and education to build product
knowledge.
• Forecast Sales: Provide accurate sales predictions.
• Resolve Complaints: Handle and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Devise Strategies:
Create sales techniques that boost performance.
• Collaborate: Work with other departments to ensure sales team success
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric essential
• Must have at least 18 months experience as a Telesales team leader within
a telecommunications call centre environment.
• Proven track record of leading successful teams
• Sound understanding of B2B sales within the telecommunications sector is preferred.

* Telesales Team Leader: R15,000 CTC with an uncapped, lucrative commission structure. There is also a cell phone allowance of R300.
This role is permanent (with a 6-month probation period)
and will include benefits such as Medical Insurance/Medical Aid and Group Life Cover, which are part of the CTC package.
As this is an urgent requirement, we are looking for the candidate to start by the 1st of November 2024. The Onboarding pack will need to be submitted at least two weeks prior.
