Criteria:
5+ years’ experience in a senior HR role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
Proficient in VIP or Sage Business Cloud systems.
Familiarity with HR biometric systems.
Tertiary qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology or National Diploma in Human Resources.
Valid driver’s license and own transport.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Manage payroll, including weekly wages, monthly salaries, and leave recording on Sage Business Cloud.
Prepare and submit EMP501 (bi-annual/annual) and EMP201 for SARS compliance.
Draft and issue contracts aligned with SA legislation, handle employee queries, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, including Skills Development, Employment Equity, WCA, and UIF.
Lead and support industrial relations (grievances, misconduct, performance issues, retrenchments).
Represent the company at CCMA.
Oversee recruitment, employee records, and performance reviews.
Conduct new employee orientation and exit interviews.
Provide guidance on HR policies, legislative changes, and company procedures.
Drive employee engagement and culture through surveys and initiatives.
Implement training and development programs for continuous improvement.
Advise on compensation strategies, salary benchmarking, and policy recommendations.
