A leading global insurance provider is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining financial integrity across international operations.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the full financial function, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations,
tax laws, and internal financial policies.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to support business strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, driving high performance and development.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models and long-term business planning.
Qualifications & skills:
- BCom Accounting required
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
