Description
A reputable supplier of high-quality fabrics, rugs, wallpaper, and homeware is seeking a Sales Consultant for its new retail store in Waterstone Village, Somerset West.
Responsibilities:
- Build long-standing and productive relationships with customers.
- Sell luxury homeware products and achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Maintain retail showroom standards and operations.
- Manage orders of additional products for the showroom.
- Support external sales consultants.
- Assist with the payment process.
Minimum Requirements:
- National senior certificate.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in a retail environment (preferably with a luxury brand).
- Knowledge of homeware advantageous.
- Experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
- Customer service-focused and oriented.
- Highly sales-driven and focused on achieving the end result.
- Must be professional and well-presented.
- Self-motivated.
- General business acumen.
Working Hours: You will be required to work a 45-hour week (inclusive of 1-hour lunch per day) that will be rostered in accordance with the specific store/mall trading times.
